R-bar is the sister venue of Revenge. It's been through several image changes, the first as a trendy bar and now finally becoming the unofficial girls bar. It's a little shabby & rough but they do lots of drinks promos. It's a nice space and it's right opposite the pier. It's the only seafront bar without some form of outside area, however during the summer they sometimes open the big windows which compensates a little for the lack outside space.
